ACE ALLEN

Drums

Ace hails from Spartanburg, SC and joined The Marshall Tucker Band in 1985 as the man behind the drums. He played on the Southern Spirit and Still Smokin record albums. He appeared in several videos from MTV and CMT as well as the Playboy channel. Ace also played with the Toy Caldwell Band before Toy's passing in 1993. Since then he has preformed with many artists including Rudy Blueshoes and Rickie E. Godfrey.

As an endorsee for Mapex Drums, Ace did drum clinics around the U.S. from 1991-1994 and also taught private lessons from 1994-2003. Ace has also preformed many times with SRA in the past, as he and Jakson were very close friends and loved to play together. Ace still sits in with The Marshall Tucker Band from time to time.
